Custom Label Printing

Why flexographic printing?

If you need labels for your products in high quantity, flexography should be your choice. As with any printing process, the technology behind the printing plates, rollers, and inks has drastically improved to accommodate high volume high quality label runs. Flexographic printing costs typically go down the higher the volume of the label run. Digital printing costs at this time are much higher.

  • Lower Cost than Digital (High Volume)
  • High Volume Label Runs
  • High Quality
  • Prints on Porous and Non-Porous Surfaces
  • Durable and Safe Ink
  • Continuous Pattern Printing

Our flexographic printing process

We need to ensure your labels are looking exactly how you expect them to look. On a flexo machine, labels are fed through a series of printing plates and impression rollers that apply fast drying ink at high speeds. Flexographic printing is a complicated process with many variables and moving parts. This is why we have layers of quality control to make sure your flexo label run is perfect.

We first make sure you have correctly formatted artwork that can be used with flexography. You will then sign off on the proof so we can begin the flexographic printing process. If needed, we will purchase or split the cost of the new plates and dies for your custom labels depending on the frequency and size of the label runs. During the first run of labels, we will perform a press check and closely compare the physical label to the approved proof. When all is well, we can ship standard or overnight.
